Summer 2010 is nearly here… and school is almost OUT!
We have lots of adventures planned for this summer
break... Below is our Travel Plans… From great
adventures to wonderful sights.. this is a summer the
kids will never forget!
Themed trips will usually be on Monday's or
Fridays...
Tuesdays = Movie or Bowling
Wednesdays = Marineland
Thursdays = Nature Retreat/Local Park

Week
#1 -
Under The Sea |
|
Have a whale of a time discovering the
mysteries of the sea through arts, crafts, stories,
songs, games, and water play and of course a visit to
the Dolphins, Orcas, Sea Lions and Beluga Whales at
Marineland.
|
|
Week #2 – Great Outdoors |
|
Getting back to nature.. we will be
spending every day this week enjoying the outdoors…
visiting one of the most amazing natural wonders of the
world, Niagara Falls… taking an educational nature hike
in Bronte Creek and ending the week with camping trip
with a real campfire, roasting marshmallows and pitching
our tent…
|
|
Week #3 - Wild Wild West |
|
Yeeeeeha! Square dancing, water
shoot-outs, gold rush games, and sling shots – we’ll
have a good’ole time. We will even be visiting a local
horse ranch and enjoying a day on the ranch grooming,
feeding and even having a chance to ride on a horse or
pony. There will be a fee of
$15 to help cover the horseback riding adventure.

Week #4 - Going on Safari |
|
A week of animal-packed fun for the
children learning about the jungle animals and
conservation through educational lessons, interactive
games, animal encounters when we go on our Safari trip
to the Toronto Zoo.

Week #5 - Holiday Mix Up |
|
Happy Christmas! Merry Valentine’s Day! We’ve got our
holidays all mixed up. This week we will be celebrating
all of our favorite holidays in the year.. all in one
week!!! From holiday crafts, Christmas songs and, and
even go trick or treating!

Week #6 - Mad Scientists |
|
This week is all about discovery as we create our own
Science Lab each day. This exciting week gives an
opportunity to be a scientist learning cause and
reaction. Games, activities, creations, adventures and
more keep their creativity going; imagine the
possibilities!

Week #7 – Once Upon a Time… |
|
Fairytales will come alive this week as we explore the
enchanting world of Fairies, Princess and the brave
knights of our favorite fairy tales…storytelling,
costumes, craft projects and fun activities including
dress up and ending our week with our Royal Ball will
make them all feel like princess and knights…
|
|
Week #8 – Treasured Hunters |
|
Gold.. Jewels, ancient artifacts.. all
for us to discover… this week will be filled with
scavenger hunts, unsolved mysteries and visiting the
museum for our own treasure dig… that will enrich our
minds and not our pockets!!!!
|
|
Week #9 – Around the World in 5 Days |
|
Summer is almost over.. but we still have
a lot of traveling to do.. each day this week we will be
using our passport to visit a new and exciting country..
our destinations are China, Scotland, France, India and
Mexico… from food, games and crafts each day we will
learn a little more about other places in this world…

Week #10 – BACK TO SCHOOL |
|
BACK TO SCHOOL!!! Oh no.. the summer is
nearly over.. and school is starting up next week for
most of us… this week we will be finally relaxing and
getting ready for back to school!....
