The main goal of Treasured Tots childcare is to have fun, improve social skills and encourage creative expression.
Treasured Tots will utilize a variety of activities to accomplish this goal. Free play, reading, arts & crafts, music/singing, dancing, dramatic play/pretend, games and puzzles are just some of the activities we will be doing.
Treasured Tots have created our own curriculum with the help of the internet, books
and Ontario Earlier Years Centres that specialize in early learning for child.

MONTHLY THEMES |
WEEKLY THEMES |
There is a monthly theme to our curriculum to help familiarize the child with
the repetitiveness of the theme.
Themes sorted by: music, songs or poems, video, books, arts and crafts, snacks, games, basic science, coloring book pages and show and tell. The
Treasured Tots puts this all together adding both monthly and weekly themes. For
infants, Treasured Tots try as much as possible to include in the fun but baby size for them. We do activities through the week and month to teach themes.
We have theme party at the end of each week for both weekly themes and monthly themes.
Treasured Tots is where kids can have fun while learning... |
There will also be a weekly theme. Children will be introduced to letter, shape, color, and number recognition. Some of the activities include arts & crafts, music, snacks, science, stories and games. It will not be a rigorous academic program as young children still learn best from participating in and observing the environment around them.
Music helps to develop young brains and will play a strong role in day-to-day activities. We may have special music activities and may also play music during other activities, for example, during arts & crafts. Your child will be exposed to many types of music such as Children’s music, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s Pop rock,
Classical music and more. Anything that will get them moving... |
